At iDental, we have met with many designers to create an atmosphere that is warm and comfortable for our patients. But we have gone one step beyond this as we know that Okotoks is a town on the cutting edge of environmental conservation. We created an office that tried to reduce waste and minimize our carbon foot print. For starters our charting system is completely paperless meaning less waste in the land fills. We have incorporated full digital radiography meaning a 90% reduction in the amount of xray exposure to you and this has also allowed us to completely eliminate the need for toxic developer fluid and film. We have placed amalgam separators into our filtration system so that there will be no toxic mercury entering the towns precious water supply. And lastly, we do not use any materials that contain mercury thereby preventing this office from being a source that may get into our surrounding environment. As you can see we know how important our environment is to everyone and every little bit will help.
